The Aschenputtel Grimm Brothers coloring book I’ve been working on for a year+ is finally done and is an actual, physical coloring/story book object that you can buy if you so choose. I started working on the Aschenputtel illustrations for a t-shirt
The final, most spectacular of the three dresses.
Here the doves fly down from the hazel tree with a gold & silver dress for Aschenputtel to wear to the first night of the Ball. Some busts look on approvingly.
Here she is calling “all the birds under heaven.” I doubt this actually represents all of the birds under heaven but it’s at least a selection.
Here she is planting a hazel branch and watering it with (of course) her tears. I tried to make her look sorrowful but I think she maybe just looks hung over, which is also understandable.
